Cold chain packaging

Packaging that keeps its cool — and its cost down.

Tetra Bots designs, sources, and supplies cold chain packaging for shippers who need product to arrive under 8 °C. Custom builds and whitelabel programs, engineered to be smaller, lighter, and better looking than what you ship today.

  • Qualified against your lane, season, and transit time
  • Right-sized to the payload — no shipping empty air
  • Coolant and insulation chosen per duration, not per habit
What we do

One partner for the whole cold box

We work at both ends: engineering the pack-out that actually holds temperature, and sourcing it at volume so it lands on your dock at a price that works.

Custom packaging

Insulated shippers, liners, coolant packs, and inserts built around your product geometry and shipping lanes — not pulled off a catalog page and hoped for.

Whitelabel programs

Your brand on the box, ours nowhere on it. Print, structural design, and unboxing experience handled end to end, with consistent supply run over run.

Sourcing & supply

We qualify the manufacturers, manage tooling and lead times, and keep the program stocked — so a temperature-controlled shipment never waits on a box.

How we optimize

Three axes, solved together

Most cold chain packaging is over-built because over-building is easy. We treat thermal performance, cost, and presentation as one problem with one answer.

Functionality first

The pack-out has to hold sub-8 °C for the real transit time, including the delay that always happens. Everything else is negotiated after that's true.

Cost through size and weight

Smaller envelope and lower weight cut dimensional freight charges, coolant volume, and material spend at once — the largest lever in most cold programs.

Aesthetics that ship

A cold box is often the first physical thing your customer touches. It should look considered, open cleanly, and read as your brand — not as a foam cooler.

Process

From lane data to pallets on your dock

Profile the lane

Payload, transit time, carrier, season, and the ambient extremes the shipment will actually see.

Design the pack-out

Insulation, coolant mass, and geometry selected together, then modeled against the profile.

Validate

Chamber and live-lane testing with data loggers until the temperature curve holds with margin.

Source and supply

Tooling, first articles, and ongoing production runs managed against your forecast.

Tell us what you ship.

Send us your product, your lanes, and your current packaging. We'll come back with a pack-out concept and a landed cost — usually within a week.
